Essence Haul
Urban Decay 1, 2 and 3 Palettes

“NEECHIE GIRL’S GOT THIS” – March 6, 2014

My daughter Nicole is always telling me that not everyone can afford a $40 palette or a $10 lipstick and even more so if they are a struggling student.  I thought “ok, she’s got a point” so I decided to dedicate a page on my blog to her where she can do her reviews, drugstore hauls and makeup tips – “NEECHIE GIRL’S GOT THIS”.  I remember being a struggling student and all I had for makeup was a Covergirl Foundation and No Name Brand Mascara.  So, I welcome Nicole’s thoughts and hope that you will stop by once in awhile and come to enjoy reading about her take on makeup, here on my Blog.  Just to further clarity, all her cosmetics or beauty items that she will be sharing will be under a $20 limit.  The following is her latest drugstore haul and I must say I was very impressed with the items that she was able to purchase and not go over the agreed upon amount.

She was able to purchase the following Essence’s Products: Mattifying Compact Powder Foundation in light beige for $5.99; Metal Glam Eyeshadows in the colors Chocolate Jewelry, Golden Up and Frosted Apple for $1.99 each; a Gel Eyeliner in Midnight in Paris for $3.99 and an No Name Brand Eyeshadow Base in Nude for $1.  She said that Essence was one of the more pricier makeups and wanted to splurge a bit since this would be her first haul and review.  Gotta Love my Daughter for putting me in my place, just this

She also wanted to share her Urban Decay Naked Palettes, which she purchased on Ebay and Amazon all under $20.  The girl’s got skills, definitely got that from her Mom.

With that, I hope you all enjoyed reading Nicole’s first Blog Post and hope that you come back soon to read her review on these products in 2 weeks.  Stay beautiful, bye for now.
