Another Stop at Walmart
On my way to visit family in southern Alberta and I found a nice display of Milani and Wet n Wild products at the Walmart in Sherwood Park. Usually, I find only a small display of each of these two brands so I was quite surprised to find a good range of products of each.
I picked up the #11 BlossomTime Rose Powder Blush and their Eyeshadow Primer.
The blush is a nice soft apricot/coral shade that feels as though it can be built up. I have two other powder blushes and 5 baked blushes from the Milani brand and I enjoy using them a lot. Although, I have not used this new blush yet, I am confident that I am going to love it just as much as her older sisters.
As for the eyeshadow primer, this is my second tube. Last year, I was annoyed that I couldn’t find a back up anywhere – London Drugs, Walmart, Shoppers Drug Mart or Superstores – nothing. I was running very low and did not want to be without my go to eye lid primer. So, I’ve been on the hunt for awhile and have had to rely on my Urban Decay Anti-aging primer or my MACs paint pots. Needless to say, I was very excited to find a new tube at the Sherwood Park Walmart and do not have to worry that my eye lids will crease mid way through the day. Best eye lid prep product, in my opinion – has never failed to do the job.
Wet n Wild:
I also picked up two Wet n Wild face products, their Megaglo Highlighting Powder in Golden Flower Cream and the Ombré Blush in The Princess Daiquiries.
The WnW highlighter has a slight golden glow, not to bam in your face but more of a sheen. The Ombré Blush has a very soft pink color and I feel that it can also be built up.
So all in all, I’m very satisfied with my 4 new products.
