I purchased this Tony Moly product about a year ago during my Korean product phase.  I remember receiving this in my product box and must have place it aside thinking that I would get to it later.

Hundreds of times over the past year, I’ve opened my back up’s drawer, and see it sitting there in the far left corner.  Once in a while I’d pick it up and unscrew the cover, take a sample and take a nice long sniff.  It has a very intoxicating juicy sweet apple scent and has a thick liquid gel type texture.   My problem is, that I do not know what it is. Is it an under eye gel?  Is it a face mask?  Or is it some kind of face moisture gel?  I don’t know….

All the instructions on the bottom are in Japanese, I really don’t know what language, which is why I’m asking for your assistance.  I’ve tried to translate it in an app but couldn’t figure it out.  Can anyone help me?  Or can anyone recommend a site where I can go to, so that I can figure out what I purchased?

Thanks, I really want to know what it is because I have tested it out on the back of my hand and the result is amazing.  My hand is so silky and smooth after i use it so i want to use it properly.  How do I find out what it is?  Help??????  Bye for now and look forward to hearing from someone….

CosmoCube Posh Bling:

Well I better start my “NO BUY” so that I can afford this sweet lil luxury $282 Canadian Dollars item.  So gorgeous, sleek, shiny, compact, see through and blingged up to the hilt makeup storage unit.  What do you think?  Would you use something like this and what are your thoughts?

Some Favorites!

Here are a few products that I have enjoyed using this month.

Can you guess which product has Holy Grail status?

You can leave you guess down in the comment section.

Kat Von D’s Innersteller EyeShadow Palette:  (click here for Sephora details) I love my purples and find that I’m liking the cooler tones, huh, who knew!  The contour shade is “ok”, the eyeshadow shades are really nice and I have been able to come up with some great looks this month.  All in all a good palette.

Innersteller 2

Too Faced – Soul Mates – Blushing Bronzer – Carrie & Big(click here for Sephora details) This soft bronzer has a tiny hint of a sheen to it, in my opinion, and is amazing used all by itself or swirled with the peach colored blush, now that’s a gorgeous pairing!

Carrie big 1 Carrie big

Tarte’s Maracuja Oil(click here for Sephora details) This is my second bottle in 6 months for peat sakes.  When I first purchased, I thought that this would be a product that I was just buying because of all the hype.  However, as soon as I started using it, I totally understood all the hype that it was getting.  I have dry to normal skin and during the winter, my skin was absolutely drinking it in.  The result was soooo yummy and soft.  It will be a love for a long long time… 🙂

I have the Tarte Maracuja Bronzing Serum in my Sephora!

Just wanted to add this set of jewelry in as I have worn it a couple times this month and is one of my favorite beaded sets.

My Sephora Haul

Hangover RX Replenishing Face Primer

I finally took the plunge and purchased the Too Faced Hangover Rx Replenishing Face Primer.  I’ve heard so many YouTube Beauty Guru’s talk about this primer, some approve and recommend and others disapprove and say “save your money”.  Well, I’m one of those people that has to try products out for myself and determine weather or not it works for me.  I do appreciate their take on different products, however, this is their opinion based on how it worked on them.   My skin type, color and texture is unique to me and the products I have in my collection work perfectly for me based on “my review”.  I purchased the Too Faced Hangover Rx Replenishing Face Primer because of its claim to revitalize and add hydration to my skin.  It is said to boost skin’s radiance, smooth’s out makeup and best of all give an appearance of a good night’s sleep.  I will definitely let you know if all these claims are on point.  Happy Happy to try out.

Photo Finish Primer Water

OMG another primer!  While snooping through the Sephora website, I came across this little gem.  I don’t know when SMASHBOX released this product but I knew that I needed to check it out, so off it went into my Cart.  The Beauty Guru I see absolutely loving this product is “Young Wild and Polished“.  She seems to really enjoy using it alone or on top of other primers, interesting.  The Sephora Website describes this primer as providing hydration and a sheer radiance to the skin which is free of silicone, alcohol and oil.  It has been pumped full of revitalizing electrolytes that work to reawaken the skin and to restore moisture.

Well heck yeah I’m on board!  Anything that is going to reawaken and add more moisture to my tired dried out from ol’ Man Winter skin has my vote.  I will give this primer water a try and let you know what my thoughts were on this product.

Translucent Crystal Light Reflecting Setting Powder

WOW! I don’t know why I have not tried the NARS Translucent Crystal Light Reflecting Setting Powder before.  I have 3 finishing powders on the go right now which are the Laura Mercier Translucent Powder as an all over face powder, the Besame Brightening Vanilla Powder that I use on my under eye area and the Makeup Forever Pressed Powder.  I don’t do a full on powder but I like the way the Laura Mercier evens out my skin and leaves just a tiny hint of a sheen.  So, I am really looking forward to checking the NARS Translucent Reflecting Setting Powder in Translucent Crystal.

Limited Edition Shimmering Skin Perfector

I mean, come on, have you ever seen anything so pretty.  I seriously bought this just for the packaging and the overall look of this product.  I have other BECCA products and have enjoyed them for their textures, colors, and best of all, their packaging.  I used this yesterday and all I did was dust a very small amount over Benefit’s Coralista Blush (my holy grail blush) and WOW was that ever a gorgeous finish.  It gave me a nice highlight and enhanced my blush just right.  I am so happy with this product that I will definitely be pulling this Shimmering Skin Perfecter out right through the summer.

And there you have my latest product haul from Sephora.  I am anxious to try them all out, as I am with any new product I get, and will do a review on them and give you my thoughts.  Overall, I’m liking so far.  Until next time, stay just the way you are, FABULOUS!

I would be happy to hear what your thoughts are on any other these products, please feel free to comment below.

My Empties

Favorite Products

I always feel some urgency when I come to the last little bit of a product, especially if it’s a product I enjoy using and even more so if can’t get right way because I have to travel into the big city to purchase.

Here I have a few holy grail products that I have backs ups waiting and ready to go.  Some products I enjoyed using, however, will not be repurchasing, not because I didn’t like using them but because I can not justify the cost and there is always a similar product to try out.

Here are my thoughts on my empties from most used to least used:

Tarte’s Maracuja Oil is a product that I have come to enjoy using and have repurchased several times.  I have dry skin and I apply this oil before my moisturizer and it leaves my skin fully moisturized and smoother looking skin, it is a must have for me.

MAC’s Prep + Prime Fix is an absolute must have for myself.  This mineralized finishing mist is sooooo amazingly refreshing and I just love the way it feels going on and how it smooths out my makeup.  This is one product that I will always have back ups that are locked loaded and ready to go.  All I do, after I have completed applying my makeup, is spritz it all over my face and it gives me the most amazing smooth finish that leaves me feeling like a super model ready to walk down the run way, boo yahh!

MAC PrepHourglass’s Ambient Lighting Powder in Radiant Light is very lovely and I like the way it blends my whole makeup look together.  The Hourglass Ambient powders, as explained on Sephora’s website, are meant to capture, diffuse and soften the way the light reflects on our skin.  The powders are to deliver a multidimensional luminescence to every skintone, making it appear softer, younger and lit-from-within.  Basically, the Ambient Powders will enhance our skin in different kinds of light and do not have a fragrance to them.  I love this powder and have my back up ready to go.

Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume is another must have for me.  This fragrance makes me feel very lady like and I absolutely love its delicate sweet scent.  Girl, if you have not tested it out then I recommend that the next time you are at Sephora or any fragrance counter, check it out.  I’m sure you will walk out with a bottle or two.

Daisy with Beadwork & Box1The Guerlain Mascara was a product that I used to the bitter bottom not because I loved the product but because of the cost.  Mind you I only paid half price for it at Shopper’s Drug Mart but even at half price it’s a lot more than I would normally pay for a mascara.  There are so many great drug store mascara’s that purchasing a $32 mascara seems a weeeee bit outrageous.  This mascara was kinda clumpy and flaked quite abit during the day, maybe it was not a fresh batch and which is why it was in the half off basket, but still it should have been more wearable.  Anywho, I don’t have any plans of repurchasing!

The Clinique Mascara was a deluxe sample that I received with my 100 points rewards at Sephora.  I recall enjoying this mascara, I really don’t know why I have not repurchased, it was great.  It lengthened, it separated, it thickened and best of all the applicator wand was perfect.  Excuse me for a few minutes while I go an add this mascara to my Sephora cart…. OMG, I couldn’t find it…yikes

I have 3 YSL products and one of them was the Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat –  Radiant Touch in Luminous Vanilla.  I did enjoy using this concealer as it was great at hiding my dark under eye circle situation like a dream.  I definitely would have repurchased this wonderful concealer, but “damn” that loveliness is expensive at $50 for 0.1oz.  Since I just ran out, I will have to wait for one of Sephora’s discount days before I can repurchase but then again, in the mean time I’m hitting up the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Custard.  Now there’s a concealer with an attitude.

The Estee Lauder Resilience Lift Firming / Sculpting Face and Neck Crème was fabulous but with all the great lotions out on the market, it’s so easy to get distracted.  So I used it up and then moved on to the Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream that I picked up at Costco.  I mean, who knew you could pick up beauty lotions at Costco, I didn’t.  Since I have started using the Regenerist Cream I have not even given the Estee Lauder a second thought.  Now that I have jumped that ship, I was at Costco last week I picked up two for about $49, OMG.  Anyway, great stuff and I’m hooked.

regenNow lets talk about the AMORE PACIFIC Time Response Eye Renewal Crème.  While at Nordstrom’s I was treated to a mini makeover and received some samples and one was the Amore Eye Cream.  Geee whiz was this an amazing eye cream, if it was so darn expensive I would be all up in that product.  It’s creamy delicate texture was so gorgeous and left my eyes looking so refreshed and softened all my fine lines.  I wish I could always have this product on hand but I can’t, it’s just to pricey for me. 😦  But I will return for another sample 🙂

Lastly, the Soap & Glory – The Righteous Butter with softening shea butter and aloe vera.  The product worked well, was creamy and nourishing BUT I will not be repurchasing because I did not like the smell of this lotion.  I tried to like it and ignore it but I couldn’t.  The product it’s self was great but….. a no go for me.

Well that’s it for my first ever Empties post.  I’ve never done one before and I hope that it was helpful to someone but more so it was a good record for myself for future reference.  So, until next time, stay gorgeous and fabulous.

Blushes & Highlighters

Hard CANDY 11

I just wanted to share my recent haul of Hard Candy products that I picked up at Walmart last week.  The items that caught my eye first were the Blushes and Highlighters.  These really stood out and deserved a closer look.  The first two items that I picked up were the 3 x a Lady and 3 x a Charm Blush, Bronzer and High Lighter trio.

Hard Candy 4

I like the consistency of this product, they feel smooth and blend nicely together or individually.  The colors are fabulously rich and pigmented.  I’m really liking the blush colors in each of the trios as they seem to be unique and add a richness to my dull complexion.  As Spring slowly makes its arrival, I think these two trios will find some love as I learn how to adjust each one to my makeup routine.

Hard Candy3

The Hard Candy Ombre Baked Blush – Glow All The Way was just to pretty to pass up so of course I added it to my cart.  I must say that the lighter part of the blush is simply amazing and can be a built up for a bolder application or be amazingly light with just one soft swish.  I may have to hide this one away from one of my daughters who just loves a highlighter, lol.

Hard Candy 6

Hard Candy 2

The last of the Hard Candy products that I picked up was the So Baked Bronzer in Tiki.  This is a very light soft bronzer that can leave a light warm hint of shimmer with out being to over the top.  I wore it today as a highlighter and wow was I every impressed at the soft glow.  I love it.  It blended well with all the other products that I wore today and will be definitely be adding it to my routine going forward into spring

Hard Candy5

Hard Candy 14

I do not know if Hard Candy is only sold at Walmarts as I have not seen them anywhere else.  If you know of any other places that Hard Candy can be purchased, please comment down below.  With that, bye for now and stay fabulous.

Monsiiuer Alex’s Review

I have been watching Monsiiuer Alex’s YouTube Channel for awhile now and have come to enjoy his opinion, his reviews and his tutorials on a wide variety of cosmetic products.  He is one of those no nonsense, tell it like it is and all round honest guy with a fabulous personality. One aspect I like about his channel, is that he includes his Mom when needs a fabulous stunning model to demonstrate the products.. She is absolutely gorgeous.

I was snooping around on You Tube wanting to watch reviews on the new NARS Dual Intensity Blushes and I was delighted that Monsiiuer Alex had a review on them.   I really enjoyed his informed presentation on these amazing blushes and will be definitely purchasing a few as soon as I’m done writing this post.

If you are looking for an honest opinion about these products then he’s your guy.  I have attached his video link and encourage you all to head over to his channel, check out his videos and subscribe, you won’t regret  It.
